Facilities and infrastructure to support learning in the English Education Study Program include standard classrooms and laboratories equipped with air conditioning and LCD projectors.
Language Laboratory Office
The Language Laboratory Office is located on the 7th floor of the Integrated Laboratory Building, Campus 4 UAD. The office, which is located between Language Laboratory A and B, is the service and administration center for the language laboratory. It serves registering for TOEFL-like tests, translating titles and/or abstracts of theses, translating certificates for SKPI, borrowing space and equipment, as well as various administrative correspondence matters.
Language Laboratory A
Language Laboratory A is to the west of the lab office and is directly connected to the Laboratory Office on the 7th floor of the Integrated Laboratory Building, Campus 4 UAD. Language Lab A has the primary function as a learning/lecture space, especially for skill-based courses such as Listening and Speaking. Apart from that, Language Lab A is used as a TOEFL-like test room, which is held regularly every week. Various other activities often carried out in the A Language lLb include training, webinars, service activities, discussions, meetings, and student affairs activities.
Language Laboratory B
Language Laboratory B is located east of the Laboratory Office which is directly connected to the Laboratory Office on the 7th floor of the Integrated Laboratory Building, Campus 4 UAD. Language Laboratory B is not as large as Language Laboratory A, but has almost the same function. Language Laboratory B is used not only as a lecturing place but also as a meeting room and workspace like Language Laboratory A; activities such as training, webinars, service, discussions, and even academic guidance activities are carried out in Language Laboratory B.
TEYL Laboratory
The TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) Laboratory functions as a center for TEYL learning and practicum activities. The TEYL Laboratory is located on campus 4 UAD, Integrated Laboratory Building, Floor 7. This lab is equipped with a collection of English storybooks, English teaching aids for children, a PC, a learning spot, and meeting points that can be used for discussions with students and accompanying lecturers so that student creativity and talent in the TEYL field can be facilitated and developed well.
Translation Laboratory
The Translation Laboratory which is located on the 6th floor of the Integrated Laboratory Building, Campus 4 UAD, is the English Language Laboratory service center. Even though the service is carried out in the Laboratory Office, the Translation Laboratory plays an essential role in the entire translation process at the English Language Laboratory. Besides that, translation practicums, translation internships, and learning can be done in this laboraory. The Translation Laboratory will be projected to become a translation training center for UAD lecturers and students in the future.
Journalism Laboratory
The Journalism Laboratory is also located on UAD campus 4, 7th floor of the Integrated Laboratory Building. This laboratory is used as a lecture room, journalism practicum, broadcasting studio and developing PBI social media. Students are hoped to be able to build and maximize their skills in the field of journalism by utilizing the facilities and infrastructure available in the Journalism Laboratory, such as camera sets, computers with video editing capabilities, broadcasting tools, and so on.
Tourism Laboratory
Tourism Laboratory is located on the 4th floor, Integrated Laboratory Building, Campus 4 UAD. This laboratory is designed with an around-the-world theme where every corner of the room has various kinds of decorations for tourist attractions worldwide. This aims to make the tourism laboratory a place full of knowledge related to tourism, both domestic and foreign. Like other laboroties, the Tourism Laboratory is used for practicum and a small-scale lecture room.
Self Access Center (SAC)
SAC (Self-Access Center) is one of English Language Study Program’s rooms on Campus 4, 7th floor of the Integrated Laboratory Building. This room is used to study independently by the students. SAC has a reading room, discussion room, and several books that students can use as learning resources for learning purposes, doing assignments, or writing their theses. For this reason, SAC is designed to make the atmosphere calm and comfortable as a place to study. Apart from students, lecturers use this room as a meeting room and room for academic guidance and thesis guidance.
